Here are the two real life happening incidents on the ground (Bhupalpally district, Telangana state, India) where we can witness how the district collector Mohd Abdul Azeem, an IAS Officer, enacts the enshrined nobleness involved in his role and unleash the same towards the needy.
- Incident #1: On the steps of the district’s Collector
office, a 70+ years old tribal woman was sitting who had been moving from
pillar to post seeking government granted old-age pension. The Collector
enquired why she had been waiting there and he came out of his seat and sat
next to her to enquire about her story. Moved by the plight of the woman, the
Collector immediately spoke to the concerned officer and ensured the sanction
of pension to the old woman
- Incident #2: The very same district
Collector came down straight to a physically handicapped person and listened to
his story and ordered justice to his case
Taking the inspiration from above two incidents, we all can do difference to our respective
roles by understanding the nobleness underlying our roles and actions. These reflections of noble actions will certainly
make us energetic and motivated to do our best possible contribution. At the
end of the day, we all are interconnected, and we need each other. What is being missed now-a-days is “nobleness” in thought and action. This is where, we can
do difference….
